John H. Walton

John H. Walton, age 81, of Eminence passed away January 24th, 2026.

He was born June 3rd, 1944, to the late Arthur “Easy”  and Audrey (Grant) Walton.

John married Sharon (Knight) Walton October 19th, 1974, and she preceded him in death September 6th, 2020.

He is survived by his children Bob (Michele) Glidden, Christina Boggs, Beth Walton, John T. (Samantha) Walton, Michael Walton, Brian (Megan) Walton, Noah (Brenna Willhite) Walton; 18 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son Richard ”Bud” (Patsy) Glidden and daughter Vickie Jo (Gildden) Brooks; ex-wife Jeanette (Henry) Walton; sister Wanda (JB) Golden.

Visitation for John will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday January 31st, 2026, at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Funeral services for John will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral Home. By Pastor Darrell Ewing with NewLife Christian Church in Paragon. Burial will follow in Mannan Cemetery.
