Jay D. Strough

Jay D. Strough, age 63, of Cloverdale, passed away on February 24, 2026.

He was born in Greenfield, Indiana, to Jack D. Strough and Virginia Lee (Gardner) Strough. Jay worked as a carpenter throughout his life and was an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Grace Hazelwood; his grandchildren, Nola Hazelwood and Christian Hazelwood and fiancée Felicity Morgan; and his great-grandchild, Leo Morgan.

He is also survived by his siblings, Rex Strough and wife Jennifer, Lisa Ingram and husband Joe, Linda Brown, brother-in-law, Joe Burkett, and multiple nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Karen Burkett, and brother in law David Brown.

Cremation was entrusted to Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
